What's in a site?
Okay, so what's really in a site? I had a client ask the other day: so what's this get me? By far the best question I've heard so far. I mean, think about it. Everyone says they can build you a site for an arbitrary number but what are you really getting out of it?
Network Health Analysis
Your network is the backbone of everything you do these days. It is your mail server, file server, secure connections to other facilities, in-house application server. The point here is that if your network is not properly maintained with good hardware, software, updates and must-have tweaks things can get bogged down or even fail.
Web Development
When most people think of their business they really don't associate a web site with gaining profits because most do not actually make a profit directly from their site (ecommerce). What these people do not realize is that web sites are more exposed to the public than their storefront. Meaning that their web site is more often than not the thing that gives people a first impression.
